Dual Anchor Adjuster

The multiple use Racine Dual Anchor Adjuster will squeeze all types of rail anchors when used in a wood tie replacement gang; or to re-tighten rail anchors in a surfacing gang operation; or during rail replacement in a quality control application. Rail anchors do not have to be removed and reapplied during wood tie replacement operations allowing for increased productivity and longer rail anchor life.

Dual Anchor Adjuster

Efficient Workhead Configuration for Wood Tie Replacement
The horizontal mounted cylinder controls four operating arms, providing highly leveraged, positive, consistent, squeeze force.

Quality Parts For Greater Overall Economy
Fewer wear surfaces, plus heat treated push tools lead to lower maintenance costs. Many components are interchangeable with the Dual Anchor Spreader.

Flexible Operation
Squeeze two anchors on one rail, or four anchors on two rails; uniformly positioning anchors against ties or tie plates without twisting.

Multi-Purpose Design
Easy access to both spacer plates and spacer blocks ensures quick changeout for either 5 1/2" or 6" rails on all anchor types throughout the head's 15" range.

Increased Operator Safety and Productivity
Excellent visibility for alignment and repositioning anchors allows a single operator to adjust all anchors under all field conditions. Side egress for safe operator exit in congested areas. Workhead barriers cover exposed areas. A comfortable climate controlled cab keeps the operator safe, alert and more productive.

Innovative Technology for Easy Maintenance

  • Advance load-sense pump controls allow for NON-DEF engine power (no DPF regen cycles), saving costs and more environmentally friendly.
  • Easy touchscreen controls with workhead adjustments from the operator seat, saving time and offering a safer way to make machine adjustments.
  • Onboard electrical system diagnostics to simplify troubleshooting and lessen downtime.
  • Remote program updates and remote troubleshooting with built-in telematics allow our technicians to help troubleshoot and lessen downtime (within cell range).
  • Smart hydraulic valves with self-diagnostics and maintenance screens increase flexibility, reliability, and reduces parts inventory by using the same control valve for every function.

  • A variety of Tier 4 engine packages are available
  • Structural steel frame with derail skids, key hole tie downs, rubber bumpers
  • Cast steel wheels for long wear, self aligning roller bearings and axle locks for safe operation
  • Propulsion is chain driven with a travel speed of 25 mph
