Tow Behind OTM Reclaimer
The Racine Railroad Products Spike Reclaimer is an unmanned, tow behind magnetic On Track Material (OTM) Reclaimer designed to recover ferrous track material.
The Racine Railroad Products Spike Reclaimer is an unmanned, tow behind magnetic On Track Material (OTM) Reclaimer designed to recover ferrous track material.
Ferrous material can now be collected and piled in designated locations, reducing the workload on high-maintenance electro-magnetic cranes.
The workhead consists of four (4) magnetic conveyors (field and gauge side of both rails).
The recovered material is elevated and is gravity deposited into a hopper with a conveyor belt base.
Once the hoppers are full (roughly one magnetic crane load), the spikes/anchors can be ejected on either side of the machine.
